North Korea has been named the worst persecutor of Christians for the twelfth year in a row, according to a list created by the Christian organization Open Doors. The list consists of countries where Christians face the most pressure and violence because of their faith. Other nations on the list include Somalia, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Iran.

 

While there continues to be a lack of accurate information coming out of the Hermit Kingdom, there have been reports that have been identified and confirmed by the United Nations about what is happening to Christians in the country. These reports tell of the kinds of torture that are happening to those who profess Christianity in the most oppressive country in the world.
