Pyongyang Evacuation Drills a Source of Strife for Civilians

The Daily NK has reported that recent civilian evacuation drills in Pyongyang have caused strife for many in the capital city. The authorities failed to provide adequate provisions, causing people to desert shelters in pursuit of food or lose consciousness during the drills. These drills began in mid-March, when the North Korean government began its threats of nuclear war.
North Korean civilians are told to always remain vigilant, as the Imperialists could invade at any time. As tensions rose on the Korean peninsula in recent months, air raid exercises and other drills were conducted often. Now things appear to be normalizing again, but even normal life in North Korea is riddled with strife.
