The mobile internet service being offered to foreign tourists barely lasted more than a month, according to the Daily NK.

Koyrolink, the North Korean-Egyptian communications company, launched the service to much fanfare on the 25th of February. The service allowed foreign tourists to use the internet on their own cell phones at a high premium for the first time.

The 3G service for tourists was discontinued in March after only a few weeks of use. Koryolink sent an email to confirm this to a tour company. The 3G service is still available for foreign nationals living in North Korea.
