On the 8th, Radio Free Asia reported that, through a World Food Program's survey,  many North Korean people are dealing with a food shortage by replacing their normal food with cheaper food.

This survey was carried out 7 times by workers in the WFP Pyongyang Office. They visited North Korean households, asked them about their food situation, and recorded their answers.

According to the survey, many people answered that they replaced their food with cheaper food. Secondly, people asked friends or relatives for food, and some answered that they cut down on foods or skipped meals.
