The United Nations Commission will call for the Security Council to summon Kim Jong-Un's regime to the International Criminal Court.

Senior Jurist and commission member Marzuki Darusman stated that the report from the commission clearly states that "crimes against humanity have taken place and continuing." He went on to state that it is possible to bring together all forms of judicial procedures under the United Nations, from international human rights standards.

The report will be presented to the Security Council on April 17th, with the panel of the United States, France, and Luxembourg, ultimately asking the UNSC to take legal actions against North Korea's government.

Darusman acknowledged the possibilities of certain permanent member states acting for their own interest, and disagreeing to call the International Criminal Court. China has already expressed that they will act against reporting to the ICC. The report includes various cases of human rights infringements taking place in North Korea.

Chair of panel Michael Kirby stated that North Korea shares nothing in common with the current world, except for the Nazi regime in Germany, and Pol Pot in Cambodia.

North Korea had refused a UN investigation team to enter, calling them 'human scum'.
