A recent report by Reporters Without Borders has pointed out that North Korea’s Central Scientific and Technological Information Agency “have used defense of national security as grounds for going far beyond their original mission in order to spy on and censor journalists, bloggers and other information providers.”

North Korea has continued deviling its Intranet, not for the purpose of keeping its citizens informed, but rather for the strengthening of the regime’s ability to broadcast ideology, according to the report.
