Earlier this week Michael Kirby and Marzuki Darusman, members of the commission of inquiry gave a press conference where they presented the new report that gives a horrible and extremely detailed image of the gravity of the human rights situation in North Korea. This report is the result of an inquiry in which approximately 80 escaped North Korean citizens were questioned in Japan, South Korea, the USA and the United Kingdom. According to Michael Kirby the crimes are very similar to atrocities during the Nazi era.
